Is it something new? Who's to say what's new in Earth's bizarre new cinematic landscape? The second movie is THE SON (25:26), starring Hugh Jackman and Laura Dern. We can't say with certainty - because it's only January - but this film may have afforded a couple Spoilerpiecers their most visceral reactions of the year. But like we said, it's January.
